I ended up getting the ps5 for the exclusives. But still later went and picked up a xbox series x because i had my whole library there so backwards compatability is fucking clean looking. Also internet browser and quick resume help me sit right with the purchase. Lol the old-school 360 games look like remasters its truly amazing. Cant say that for the ps5.. sony makes you buy every single remaster with no backward compatability like the old fatboily ps3

We all know that the specs in iPhone 13 is still very good for 2024 no doubt, even for the coming years. But my question is can apple do something with updates that can lower the performance of the phone? Like degrading the camera quality with updates?

Apple has created a smart 'willful fugitive situation'. It's a clever and profitable marketing strategy (I appreciate it as a marketer) but as a user I despise it. I love my freedom more than 'my status'. I know Samsung has tried to lock users in in a similar fashion (proprietary apps) but it is not so 'my way or highway' as with Apple. The only thing I've seen that could theoretically become that kind of 'crutch' is a stylus. If someone depends on the stylus, there really aren't many alternatives out there. Luckily I don't live in the US where in order to communicate with people I'd have to abandon my principles and just follow the crowd. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
